Romeu Olive Oil
Estate grown olive oil, Extra Virgin, DOP Trás-os-Montes, from certified Organic Agriculture.
Olive oil produced exclusively from Cobrançosa, Verdeal Trasmontana and Madural olive trees.
It is stone ground in a private olive oil mill equipped with a granite grinder and operated by means of mechanical and cold pressing.
It ranks in the TOP 10 and TOP 15 lists for world-class olive oils, in both the Italian olive oil Guidebook “L’Extravergine” 2005 and 2007, and in the German gourmet magazine “Der Feinschmecker”.

A golden-yellow colour and intense aroma of olives.
On the palate, it is round, thick and fluid. At first, a light almond-like sweetness is revealed, soon followed by a flavour of fresh olives and vegetables, and finally a long-lasting and complex flavour, with just a hint of pepper but not bitter aftertaste.
A subtle olive oil, with a delicate character, not too strong, yet showing incredible balance and harmony.
Average production: about 20,000 litres.
Picking season: November / December
Altitude: 350m
It is estate-bottled and sold in boxes of 24 x 25cl, 12 x 50cl and 12 x 75cl bottles, and sold directly by the producer in Portugal and to other countries.
