Vinification

Handpicked into small boxes. Manual selection of bunches on the sorting table. Complete stalk removal followed by gentle crushing. Co-fermentations with indigenous yeasts in open granite tread tanks (lagares) with gentle pigeage and pumping over. Ageing in cement tanks. Wine not stabilized through cold. It may create deposit

Grapes
Blend of traditional Douro grapes varieties such Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Touriga Franca and Tinto Cão from own vineyards.
Organically grown vineyards (certified).

Colour
Cherry red, with good intensity.

Aroma
Clean, with good intensity and complexity. Ripe red fruits an floral notes stand out. Slightly spicy.

Taste
Smooth attack with good structure and excellent mouth feel. Fresh, with well integrated tannins bringing elegance and a gastronomic profile to the wine. Very well balanced.

Serving
Best enjoyed between at 16º C
